Some might think it’s crazy, but this is my second body and I only use it when I am working hockey or lacrosse. Love it, just is very big for my small hands.

A very versatile lens that allows me to get really close with my subjects. Definitely my favorite for working in the studio.

A newer lens to me, but is slowly becoming my favorite for abstract photos during games. 100% recommend using a wide lens like this at least once in your life!

SD cards

I prefer a larger size SD card so I can shoot more events on one, but I also prioritize read/write speeds so I always am watching out for what each one offers.

Big fan of being able to hold all of my SD cards in one place. This case offers molds that will hold not only SD cards, but also CF and Micro SD. Is weather resistant and durable is dropped.

Solid state drive (ssd)

Please please please use a SSD and not a hard drive!! They are less likely to crash, are more durable for moving around, and work way faster. I am a big fan of the T7!

A more cost-effective external drive, I have heard good things about it but do not personally use it. Good with moving around and is drop resistant.

I don’t use flash often, but in some cases it comes in handy such as hallway photos or pregame photos where I use shutter drag.
